I am engrossed in the video art.
It is the digital age now, so we can enjoy art without spending neither money nor time for analog technology.

ビデオアートが熱い。
このデジタルな時代、ローテクな作業に時間もお金もかけずにアートを楽しむことができる。

Basically, the old school video art is used a lot of layer, and these layers put together at the same time.
Nam June Paik, who is the first video artist, for example, made free use of many layers, and his concept was 　consistently　unique mind.

基本的に、オールドスクールなビデオアートはレイヤーを多用し、それを同時に同じ画面に映し出す手法が使われる。
世界初のビデオアーティストの、ナン・ジュン・パイクはレイヤーを駆使して映像という媒体で諧謔な精神世界を表現した。



About 40 years ago, Pike started his career for the video artist, but materials of video art was very expensive at the time.
He used the video synthesizer which was the latest technology at late 70s, and the video synthesizer was not a machine that was able to treat everyone.
約４０年前、パイクはビデオアーティストとしてのキャリアをスタートさせたが、当時は彼のようなアーティストが使う機材は相当高価だったことは想像に容易い。
彼は当時ではハイテクだったビデオシンセサイザーを使っていたが、高価すぎて誰もが使えるような機材ではなかったはずだ。

However, now is digital age.
We only need a digital (video) camera and a software such as Finalcut for editing, and everyone can enjoy art by themselves.
しかし、冒頭でも述べたように、今はデジタルな時代。
デジタル（ビデオ）カメラと映像を編集するファイナルカットなどのソフトさえあれば、誰もがアートを楽しむことができる。
